DEFENSIVE PISTOL CLASS

Class starts at 8AM and runs till done.

Cost: $150.
Plus; there is a generally a $10 event fee to the club, to be paid at the club….
Total $160

This is an eight hour class (Minimum) that will introduce the new, as well as, the experienced shooter to modern and proven techniques of the defensive pistol-craft, including: Firearm Safety, Malfunction clearing, Use of force Justification, Holster Techniques, Emergency and Tactical reloads, Close Quarters Engagement, Multiple Target Engagement Tactics, Hostage Abatement, Home Defense, and much more……

Rain or shine, dress for the weather, this is an outdoor class.

That said, this class will be called, if the weather conditions are extreme, to the point of endangering safety.
Refunds or rescheduling are both options at that time.

Minimum Equipment Requirements:

•  A quality, Service type, center fire handgun (9mm is Minimum)
( Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P, or Springfield, are recommended )
The use of Revolvers is not recommended for this class.
.380's & .22's are not appropriate for this class.

•  A minimum of 350 rounds of ammunition for your handgun

•  Eye and ear protection (Preferably Electronic Ear Muffs.)

•  A quality belt and strong side belt/hip holster
( kydex-type belt/paddle holsters are recommended )

•  Three magazines(Minimum)and mag pouch(es)
- or-
FOUR speed loaders(that work with your gun)and STONG SIDE holders for them.

•  A brimmed baseball type cap (w/neck cover??)

•  Food/beverages for personal consumption ( Lunch and Rehydration)

•  Bug Spray

•  Sun Block

•  Appropriate Footwear for range work

•  Body armor (is optional)

NOTE; It is important that you are appropriately attired and geared for this class.
Anyone arriving improperly equipped will be advised that they need to reschedule their participation for a time when properly equipped.
